I'm a creative soul, and I've always had a secret desire to write an erotic story but when I sit down to write, my face goes red and I can't do it. I know the market for fetish erotica is hot right now, and I've always had this dream, but I can't seem to muster up the....erm.....balls to do it. Granted, I'm a woman, so balls don't necessarily apply to me, but you get my drift.

I just thought that being an erotic writer would help me to overcome my shyness in the bedroom. I'm not very open or whatnot about it because that's the way I was raised, so I guess I want to be more open about it and to write about it might help me feel more comfortable. That's how I view it.

I've come up with a pen name, so I can write anonymously at first, and later, if and when I feel comfortable, I'll write using my real name (I hope).

You could always start by writing erotica just for yourself. It seems like a safe way to explore sexuality.

I used to be very shy about sexuality. For me it was taking courses on human sexuality in college and graduate school and having to teach it that finally got me comfortable with it.

Before that I couldn't even begin to think about talking about sex... Having a partner you really trust and feel comfortable with helps a lot in the bedroom, and out.

I know the most prim and proper woman who has become a published erotica author. Go for it! "His hot, throbbing rod...."

Haha! "As she unclothed herself, his extension grew longer......."

That's a great way of looking at it! I mean if your face goes red it may be fun to just play around with words and euphemisms to get the point across without getting too graphic.

I am a very sexual writer and I enjoy sex, and I am a woman that was raised prim and proper (oh so my parents thought!). I think writing is a great way to explore your sexuality. AND if you're DARING enough, you can anonymously join a roleplaying website like "Blue Moon" so you can get ideas from others.

Good luck!

I say go for it sounds like a really fun creative outlet. I love the part about "his extension grew longer"
