when i was young and was alone with my brother (around when i was eight and he was ten) he'd say... innappropriate things. he was a strange child and still is odd... i told him to stop often but he didnt... he only eventually did because i recorded him saying some stuff on my phone (i had one at eight.) and told him if he didnt stop id show it to my parents. he stopped. we havent been close since.
does anyone know why a child would say this kinda stuff to his little sister? he never made physical contact... its just the things he said. and i havent told anyone...idk if itd be something i should tell my counsellor or not. |

Sure, if it's bugging you you should tell.
I don't know why brothers would act that way. I know mine does (Havn't told anyone about it though, not even here actually. It just feels weird and wrong to talk about). Maybe all older brothers secretly have a thing for their little sisters...or maybe they just not-so-secretly have a thing to try and freak us out as much as possible. Or both. |

I think alot of it might be childhood experimentation. I had it happen to me as well. mine too are older brothers. I think it is pretty normal behavior for preteen boys to be that way. does it make it right? heck no! should we allow it to rule us the rest of our lives? certainly not hon. if it does bother you that bad then by all means talk to your counselor about it.

BY all means talk to your T about it so this issue can no longer control your mind or your inner feelings... you deserve to be free of all wounds.
