The other night I had a really bizarre dream and I woke up laughing cause it was so weird.

I was in a room, okay?

There was furniture in it.

Some kind of freaky force of nature---the wind---I don't know, knocked everyting on it's side, the chairs, the tables, a big table in the corner.
Nothing is broken, just upended.

The most bizarre thing that really got me was there was this huge maroon couch and the wind had knocked it over so that it was on it's end, with the othe end sticking up.

Now, the wind doesn't do that kind of thing. That couch was too heavy, I know, for even two people to lift. I couldn't believe that someting that heavy and huge could be upset.

The only thing I can think of is that I am going thru life processes that are knocking me off balance in weird ways that I can't understand.

But why did the couch get upset?

And why in that way?

And why was it maroon?

I read a dream book about colors but I can't remember what "red" means. Or maroon.

You woke up laughing? I think that's good!

Yes I would agree. Usually what the dreamer thinks, is what it is (because it is your dream!)

Now the color red, or bungandy etc refers to power. But you always have to apply that basic to WHAT is red... and in this case it's your sofa.

What does the sofa mean to you? What type of power? Are you in therapy and you feel you've lost power in session? (A couch often represents the psychiatrist's office IRL...)

Sometimes a couch/sofa represents finances (people lose their loose change in them.)

Interesting! yes! I feel like I have lost my power in therapy! I am intimidated there; they are very authoritarian and I am thinking about complaining to someone about their unethical behavior. Long story.
And I am afraid of losing my money; very tight income; I can't afford therapy right now.
Loss of power, loss of money.

right on!

any other feedback welcome.
