There's this mirror on the wall about 5-7 feet away from my bed. Every night before I go to bed I have this weird urge to look up and look at it, then go to bed. If I don't I just have a weird feeling that I can't explain, or can't sleep well, so I always do it.

Does anyone else have something similar to this, or can explain to me why I do it? I have understanding why.

Thank you, .

maybe its just become a part of the night routine for you. There is nothing wrong with that. Maybe its like people sleeping with a soft toy or sleeping with the light on this maybe has just helped you to get to sleep.

It's not a dream then?
One thought could just be a habit
Or mental a compulsive thing.
Maybe it's just the reflection so you perifiual vision just catches it and automatically you just turn - reflex

i get stuck in mirrors - i mean, i stare at mine and get "stuck" there for a long time. so i also do this before bed too in the bathroom... but also i have been known to lose time when looking into the full lenght mirror closet doors near my bed. dunno why either.

Frankki...

Sounds to me that you are simply acknowledging to your own self...as though you are sub-consciously confirming the days end (to self)...and if you do not do that for self, then you "feel" something is incomplete until it is done.
You are remaining in tune with yourself. And especially since you are feeling so many outside stressful influences, it may only be your way of confirming to yourself that you've made it through another day, and that you are alright.

Keep it up. Next time you glance up at self in mirror, smile at who you see, (she is, after all, a wonderful person), and wish her sweet dreams.

Take care~
