for those who don't know i recently terminated therapy rather abruptly. Anyway my dream was about my old therapist being extremly ill in hospital, close to dying. I was visiting her everyday and sitting and laying (non sexual) on the hospital bed next to her just talking. The feeling of the dream was afraid and also hopeful of therapist recovery

Maybe you are subconsciously feeling guilt about terminating your therapy.
You could call her just to clear the air. Who knows, maybe the therapist is dreaming about you too (non sexual) of course. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds like you may have enjoyed talking to her as well. The fear and hope of here recovery just means you are a caring and loving person. Nobody want to see somebody they like in that situation.

Well, it feels like you are internally taking responsibility for the pain you may be projecting onto her as a result of the "termination" - which does sound like a health issue (hence the bed). You may be subconsciously thinking she is in pain because of it and that can make you feel bad without knowing why. Hence, you are in bed next to her - the real person in pain is you.

If it were my dream, I'd look at the visiting everyday part as just the constant nature of the pain; at first, pain is constant, doesn't just go away, has to be figured out and the problem fixed?
