I just woke from this horrible dream. Has left me feeling such emotional dispair.
Although I know dreams are not reality, they do signify things which are troubling us. I suppose it's a matter of how we rationalize them, if that's even necessary.

The last time I woke upset like this was many years ago when I had a dream about my mom's death. It left me moarning her passing for 3 days, despite she was still alive at that time.
Decades later, I have this violent dream, resulting in my accidentaly shooting my love, Kristian.
It's stupid, I know...to wake so upset over something which isn't real.
I can't help but to try to understand, though, why I wake so upset..in tears.
Perhaps, it's just waking in the midst of all that emotion...I dunno.

I find analyzing dreams facinating, and I'm usually pretty good with making sense of them. But when they leave me so emotional like this, I can't seem to make heads or tails of it.
Maybe, some aren't meant to be made sense of.

Ehhh...nuff said.

I can try, I'm usually alright with the psychology of a dream, but only really if I know the person at least reasonably well. The history of a person and their personallity, in my opinion, are vital to more accurately understanding a persons dream.

Please explain more about the dream; feelings, objects and things that were said. Was there anything that stuck out? Try to be descriptive, for myself and anyone else who may have suggestions.

Make sure to check for a plausable link between your dream and something you may have seen on TV, read in a book or anything like that. It's important to filter out the insignificant parts. All the thoughts and ideas gather and jumble, some dreams make more sense than others. For someone who has a lot going on, their dreams will often have many thoughts, ideas or emotions that can be harder to understand and appreciate.

It's important that you don't find dreams scary, threatening or intrusive. Dreams are indeed, just another area of the mind we have yet to fully understand. Learn from your dreams, accept them and appreciate them but try not to get worked up over them. As far as I'm concerned, we have them for a reason. I welcome dreams and nightmares, for that reason. They can help us better understand ourselves.

Sorry for the babble, I get into this kind of thing, sometimes.
