I am so tired of dreaming of dark forces and unnatural happenings and sensations. I often can't even remember the dream fully except that it frightens me and leaves me disgruntled and tired the next day. I wish I could go just one night without dreaming of something evil.

(((sabrina))) I suffer from really bad nightmares too. I am sorry you are having to go through that.

Unless it's caused by medicine you take....
Can you pray to your higher power to give you more peaceful dreams? Sounds like night terrors. They are just that. ![]() ![]()

These are NOT night terrors. I get those too.

If its not meds that are causing the nightmares, it can either be a past experience from somewhere(maybe witnessing a distressing scene) or something that is distressing you in your life either stored in your everyday life or your subconcious.

((((((Sabrina)))))))
Do you think it might represent things that are happening (or happened) in your life that cause you angst or fear? Sometimes I have a recurring dream of someone chasing me and hurting me, sometimes sexually, sometimes just physically. Both these type assaults happened earlier in my life. In my opinion, both or either occur and represent current events of anger, helplessness, loss of control and fear in my life. The dreams are frightening. I try to get up and write the highlights down, because I often forget the details once the alarm clock goes off. But just the act of getting it off my chest is helpful. I talk about them with pdoc and spouse as soon as I can to help sort them out. It's not easy...they're fuzzy and twisty - turvey. Crying aloud with a friend or loved one is cathartic. Writing in a journal is helpful for me. I'm so sorry you have such dreams. I know how disconcerting they can be. I'm always here for you, my friend... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
