Every few days I have dreams about this girl I used to like but made me feel horrible (more than I already do) She wasn't mean but upfront essentially poking at me because she noticed my "depressive behavior" I lied to her telling her everything was Ok, but it's obvious that I'm depressed. I regret not telling her the truth, (which would include me liking her, depression, and why I pushed away from her) Now almost every night she shows up in my dreams, even if she's in the background or walks by for a second she's there, and I feel awful when I awake. For this I feel I have some idea of what it means (her representing missed oportunities, insecurities, and lies) but can anyone build something solid from this?

Since they are our dreams, I think everyone in them is "us" and I think you are having a recurring dream because that part of you that knows you are depressed and trying to hide it wants you to get help/more help? Are you on meds/seeing a therapist?
