Anyone got any tips that I could give a go? I have cut out caffine drinks after 6pm, dim the lights, read a book, drink milk, try a warm shower before bedtime, some natural sleep aids. I take 300mgs of Largactil but am still having problems getting and staying asleep.

Dollar General (if you live in the US) sells a night time sleep aid that works wonders. It costs about $2 for a two week supply. Also, have you tried melatonin? That works well for me. You can get it in 3mg or 5mg (7mg maybe?).

I sometimes use a children's/allergy med or Benadryl that has drowsiness as a side effect. It helps me breathe better too (stuffy room) and doesn't seem as sedating as a sleeping aid.
Are you getting enough exercise during the day? If you normally just sit around (like me) that can impact your sleep. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/...n6119907.shtml
