I come here time to time and get great advice. Have been gone for awhile and things are going pretty good. Got a great p dr. and good drugs but......I can not even take a nap without dreaming. I wake up many times a night from all sorts of crazy dreams. By mornig I am so tired I have the worst time getting started. Is it my meds? Just part of being BP or what? I am on Abilify and Vyvanse and take Valium as needed.

Abilify does have the side effect of "abnormal dreams". I would ask your pdoc if there's anything that can be done for that. We do dream as many as 8 or more times a night and anytime we sleep (I don't care for nap dreams, mine are usually about mixed up stuff from my actual morning or book I'm reading, etc.) so I don't know that the number of dreams can be affected but I've heard the intensity can be caused by meds.

I am going to ask my pdoc next week when I go in. Just don't want to mess with my drugs because everything else is going so well.
