So, I've had some strange dreams lately, and it's making me really confused... Last night I had a dream I did drugs! And a few days ago I had a dream I got drunk. I'm totally against all of that! And in my dreams, I liked it all so much. Hmm.

I have dreams like that. I hate them because like you, they make me feel weird when I wake up. I usually have to take my meds to make sure a panic attack doesn't happen. I start with my allergy medication hoping it will kick in fast and relax me so I don't have to take a xanax. I don't like to do that unless I have to.

I think our dreams try to keep us balanced. All or none thinking needs "balance".

If you have never used drugs or alcohol, you have no experience of it at all so your "opinion" is not very helpful to you. I'm not saying use drugs or alcohol! I'm just saying that using much energy to be for/against something you know nothing about, would be a waste of energy.

I would look at your life and see if there are opinions like that, where you are spending energy being for/against, liking/not liking something when you haven't tried it, just don't like the "idea" or what you've been taught by someone else (someone else's experience of something).

We need to stay close to what we, ourselves, know. Did you see the movie "Runaway Bride"? The character played by Julia Roberts experimented to see how she liked her eggs cooked. That's how we should approach life.

Hi,
Relax about your dreams! The subconscious often uses contradictions especially in waking dreams. The idea that you do drugs, or drink when you don't, grabs your attentionand puts your brain to work. It is the process of moving from sleep to consciousness! Your subconscious gives your brain something to go at!

I've had some strange dreams myself.

I've had a dream where I went into this bright light, and I was on a cloud or something XD and then I seen this weird looking black gate sitting on a cloud. I went towards it and woke up.
Yeahh, It was pretty weird, I woke up like umm....what was that about? XD

But I also have dreams of doing horrible drugs and I liked them, But when I woke up I knew that it was just a dream and I would not do it.
