Okay so I don't know which dream came first, but these are the two that I remember from last night.

First, I was riding my bike (which is how I get around town until I get a car), and I saw this little truck (like an S10) that had a bed big enough to throw my bike into. When the owner came out of the gas station, I asked if it was for sale. He said it was and he was asking $500. I was thrilled so I said "Deal!" When I looked at him again to ask if I could ride with him to see how it handled, the truck only had one front seat, and the cab was barely big enough for him. I kinda did a double-take, and when I looked again, the truck was about the size of a PowerWheels toy car. He started to drive off, and I followed him, perplexed. The next time I saw the "truck", it was a large orange cat!!!! And he was riding it! Very strange, IMO.

The next dream started out at my current work place (a nursing home). We were going into the little nurses station to do reports (updates on problems or medications, etc), and I realized I forgot my papers in the employee lounge (this happens all the time). I went back to get it, but the walk took forever. When I finally got back to the nurses station, I still didn't have my papers--I'd somehow gotten sidetracked and had forgotten them, again. I went back again, running this time. But instead of hallways and doors, it was a campground with gravel roads. On the way there, I got terribly lost. I stopped and asked some "campers" how to get back to Maple Lane (the name of the hallway I work on). They'd just gotten there so they didn't know their way around any more than I did. One of the girls told me to ask one of the ride operators, because there were now little boats and other waterpark-type rides all around us (while still in a campground-like setting). I asked one, and the next thing I know, this girl is telling me directions as we're on this slide thing that people would race to the bottom on. Makes no sense...

The only thing I can take from either (or both) of these dreams is a constant sense of change, which could definitely apply to my life right now....Anyone else have ideas?

Hi AtreyuFreak,

Hmm. The two ideas that come forward for me are:
1. The truck is getting smaller, so this is kind of a poor deal. Do you feel like you are being taken advantage of?
2. In describing the slide you called it a "race to the bottom."
How are you feeling about your job right now? It seems to be making you feel anxious and even like it might be "a race to the bottom" in some ways?
Sorry... oops. I know that sounds a little intense. I guess what I mean is that it might have just been a stressful week? Did you feel like something was like "a race to the bottom?"
Not sure if that was any help. But interesting dream. I liked the "campground" part.

What you said makes sense. I am kinda paranoid (especially right now) about being used, or taken advantage of.

As far as the "race to bottom", a lot of days at work it's just been a race to the end of the day, like I can't wait to get home and rest. I love my job, don't get me wrong, but after not doing ANYTHING job-wise for 2 years and basically nothing at all since I graduated in June, it's likely that I'm just not used to doing demanding work, both physically and emotionally, for 8 hours at a time! And yes, my job definitely makes me anxious. I'm CONSTANTLY worried I'll screw everything up.

And I liked the campground (and waterpark rides) part as well, except the campground in my dream was much bigger than my work place LOL so I was sprinting to get the papers I forgot and knew I wouldn't make it back in time because it was so big...and of course then I got lost LOL
