I had one of the oddest and most vivid dreams last night. I can't recall it in chronological order so I'm just going to share what I can remember and hope for some input - it would be interesting to see what you guys think.

I dreamt at first that I was bleeding severely, but I was trying to hide it from everyone because I felt embarrased about being injured (it was somewhere on my left arm)

Then I dreamt that I was a ghost/spirit and that I was trying to communicate to the people around me (family mostly). My dad finally noticed my presence and asked me if I was an evil or a friendly spirit. I couldn't speak to him so I drew a cross on a fogged up window. They were still scared. Then my grandmother was in the room with us (who has been deceased for many years now) and I realised that she could hear me, and I found out that she could hear me two. She started chuckling, as if the whole situation was quite hillarious.

I then went outside the house and into the streets and tried to speak to others. Adults couldn't hear me but children saw me and heard me and were frightened most of the time, but a few of them weren't afraid and spoke to me. Then my one friend whom I studied with joined me, saying she had overdosed on meth. We both started laughing at our grim fate.

I remember that we were being controlled by a darker spirit who only allowed us to go out for an hour a night to try to contact whoever we were trying to contact.

It was really odd but it felt invigorating to be a ghost.

So I would like some input :-P

yikes...I'd hate to assume...it almost sounds like a past life memory or as if in your real life you are having a very hard time with people understanding where you are coming from?Even in your dream you were able to relate to the 'one friend' who in real life understands you?I think your mind...in its wanderings is expressing feelings you have ongoingly.
Thanks for this!

Hi,
Even in sleep we need entertainment and diversion. It is probable that you were lying on your arm too long and it started hurtin. The subconscious has a strange sense of humour and often uses subtlety to get across its messages and commands.
The "hint" that you might be a ghost, that you mightbe"dead" engages the brain wonderfully! The aim of the dream was to wake you up!
Thanks for this!

Thanks guys, interesting interpretations. The emotions of dreams play a big part, and the fact that it was not unpleasant or bewildering or scary or any of those things also just lead me to believe it was mostly entertaining, but I agree with you too Wolfsong, I am actually struggling with getting myself across to others effectively.
