on going dreams for 3yrs

I have been having this dream for ages and it is quite creepy

I am in the park out side my high school, on the way home and there is this snicket that i have to go through it is dark and i cant see a thing but it feels like someone is following me when i get out of there i am not where i should be it is like i am in a different world but someone is still following, i get really worried because i dont know where i am, and in the distance i see a figure it is blured but yet there is something fermileur. the person it callin my name i am running towards him but am not getting any nearer. then the person who has been following me cos behind from the shaddows and strangles me.

Any ideas on if there is a meaning or something behind the dream.
