Lately, I haven't been able to sleep until around 3 in the morning because of school work, but now, even if I don't have homework or something to do, I find that I cannot sleep for hours because of either stress, or nothing at all. When I finally fall asleep, I have difficulty waking up. My hours of sleep have ranged from 0 to 12 hours. Is there any name for this?

Hi, Rocky! Welcome! I'm not sure about a name, but I'm sure you'd like to get your sleep back on track. Have you talked to a doctor about it?

Sounds like you have thoroughly mixed up your normal circadian rhythm I would get a "schedule" going, go to bed the same time each night, whether you feel like it or not, and get up the same time each day. It works best when it is "dark" outside as our body chemicals are geared around daylight/night for optimum health.
