I had a dream where me and a friend were carrying a couch down a long dock, to sit on. Then we carried normal outside sitting chairs to sit on. What could it mean?

According to an online dream dictionary I looked at:

"A dream where you are moving furniture around or trying to make it fit into a small space may reflect the way you are trying to cope with the many problems in your waking life. If you arranged the furniture to your liking, it means that you keep your everyday life under control. If you dream of a particular piece of furniture which you extremely like, it could symbolize a person you are fond of."

I think water often means "emotion" or your inner, emotional life. So, given the above, it would make sense to me that you were on a dock. Maybe you need to sit and talk to yourself (all characters in dreams exist because we put them there; it's our dream so we are all of our characters) or a good friend about what's going on in your life?
