I hardly slept last night, just came to whine because I have to get up and motivated to go see the doc. Waaah.

Do any of you ever experience being asleep and then suddenly realizing that you're conscious and the wheels in your mind are turning rapidly? I get it all the time and its probably the reason I'm usually so tired. The only time I know I've truly slept is when I have extremely weird dreams.

Not really. I'm one of those who lies awake at night with the wheels turning, and if I do remember my dreams I try to write them down. I've had some twisted ones lately (when are they not?)...

Hope everything went ok with the doctor...

Things went alright, I found out I'm being referred to a specialist about my latest PAP but the doc assured me that its minor and they just want to keep an eye on it. Phew!

I also told her that I want to discontinue my medication and see if I can find means of naturally boosting my serotonin levels through endorphine boosting activities like exercise and eating healthy. She was very supportive of it but advised that if I find they're not working to return to my medications.

Then I told my counsellor the same thing and she tweaked out on me trying to pressure me back into taking the medications. This made me feel kind of anxious and a little afraid of her. I didn't change my mind though, only promised her that if I didn't feel results within a few months that I would return to medicating.

I kind of want to ask the doc if it would be possible to get something to help me sleep more thoroughly throughout the night. But I think I should try a regiment of drinking drowsy teas first.
