Ok so I had a dream I was cheating on my fiancee and woke up at four in the morning, I fell back asleep and had a dream she was cheating on me. Now so far in my 4 year relationship with her I had only 1 other dream I had cheated on her while I had maybe a dozen or so of her cheating on me. She also has dreams of cheating on me or me cheating on her. I never had dreams like this before in past relationships however my last girlfriend did cheat on me. Is this normal? Why do we think or at least dream about cheating on each other. For the most part we have a really good relationship. Any insight would be appreciated because my dreams are getting more and more weird and realistic.

I will just say, that they usually represent something in our subconscious, but maybe have nothing to do with the actual topic of the dream. I think that there is probably just something in your life in general that you are feeling "cheated by" and most likely has nothing to do with the actual relationship....Might be something job related or many other things...

I have these dreams, and when I wake up I calm myself down by recognizing that my dreams are based on my fears or desires, and the subconcious. I have dreams all the time on cheating on my fiance, or drinking behind his back (almost one year alcohol-free June 15th =D). I guess part of me feared that maybe if I ever started to drink again I would lose control like always (I would blackout every single day) and do something with someone and only just realizing I am cheating after the fact. So, I have a feeling that your dreams have to do with your past experience and the fear it will happen again, and your fiance also has that fear.
