When I sleep in the dark my body begins to act weird. I don't know much about it now but my body thinks there is something in my room. Sometimes I look at "nothing" and I turn my light on. I'm not scared of the dark but I don't prefer it. It's like sleepwalking I think Does anyone know what this is?

So do you keep bright lights on, or just a small light? I've never heard of anyone wanting to sleep in a room that was all lit up brightly. Like how much light do you need? Lots of people like a small night light. It sounds like an anxiety issue.

Sometimes I sleep with the light on. It all depends on my mood. I'm not sure what you mean by your body feeling weird?
Thanks for this!

Some times i sleep with my light on. I kept getting the feeling that something was there wtching me sleep. I havent felt this for a while but the other night when i went to bed i felt like something was lying beside me. It felt like it was close to my face i could even feel the heat of it. i jumped out of bed panicking and put the light on. i do think its anxiety im not sure but what it is.

That sounds scary It might be anxiety because I'm worried whether there are any "ghosts" in my room.

Night light or the hallway light on to cast some light into the room
I cant have the light on due to my bf can't sleep with it one- once in a while he turns it on.
Sometimes i feel like there are others in rooms; I usually cant sleep and have to get up.. ghosts- i use to think aliens when i was a little younger for real... I sometimes have that thought cross my mind still.

Maybe it is stress or anxiety ??

Oh and just because you may have a "trait" of schizophrenia does not mean you are schizophrenic...I would hope a dr would know that the mind can be a wonderful trickster I would still talk to your therapist if it is really bothersome

It might be anxiety. I can hear little voices but it's in my head when I sleep. It's normal apparently.
Thanks for this!
