every night i take a half of a sleeping pill b/c of my insomnia but it never helps, i'm always wide awake and get maybe 3 to 4 hours of sleep. i need more sleep but i can't find a way to get good sleep at night. any ideas?

Relaxation, meditation, self-hypnosis, sleep induction tapes, binaural beats (though need stereo headset for those, maybe hard to fall asleep with those).

can you up your dosage to a full pill although i just to take sleepers too and they didn work either but my doctor said they wont work if your depressed or anxious so i guess thats y for me any way. meditation is a good idea thou i havent tried it yet myself but alot of people here it seams to wrk for. i just dont no how to do it
