What does it mean if I dream about a woman with long hair? At least it feels like a woman. I get a warm and pleasant vibe as if I am safe and loved. Only I can't see her face. I travel over mountains and great distance to reach her but it seems like just next door. Any thoughts?

In my dreams like that show up when I'm the most depressed and lonely, and I interpret them as my subconscious telling me what I need/want.
Though of corse that could just be me, and your dream may mean something else entirely.

Thanks,
Yes, I think that is probably it. Not seeing her face is so frustrating. This is recurring.

Often when we don't see someone's face it's because it is of someone we know and care about. IDK why

Does someone in your past bring comfort someone who had long hair?

Do you think there is someone in your life who could be the one you have searched all your life for??? that you "know" but haven't admitted to yourself? Or perhaps your unconscious knows and your conscious is overlooking ???

If it's loneliness/depression you may not be seeing a face because there is no person in your life who is associated with the safe/loved feeling you describe, (after all that would be the whole point of the dream) And the frustration could be an artifact of the same emotions that create the dream in the first place.
Oh, the long hair, it could just be that long hair is something you find attractive, (that is, of course, assuming the dream is about romantic love, which is a bit of a leap from what I know, but seems to make sense in light of what you've said and the dreams of mine I mentioned earlier)
Going out on a limb, I would say the best way to make the dream go away is to fill the need it expresses, (which is, I well know, much easier said than done)

Thanks so much for everyone's thoughts. I think this is indeed about romantic love missing from my life. And it's possibly out there but I just can't reach or attain it. This is not an erotic dream. I have had those and they can be quite vivid. Hate to wake up. But the feeling is not of a friend or family member. The traveling part is me flying or being lifted up and placed down by some force of which I'm not comfortable with.

"Hate to wake up"....hahaha.idk what it's about.Maybe it is just that the bit you do see is relative to an experience of feelings for someone in the past. And the bits you don't see,is where to project that need for someone to love.Maybe "she" is 'nearby'....yet in the future a ways....if even prophetic.Nevertheless I hope that your feelings of needing a love in your life come to fruition.I also hope that it would be a healthy relationship.Good luck!

Frankly you are lucky you can remember your dreams.
I wake up anxious, knowing I had a bad dream but not knowing what it was.

Sometimes I do but most of the time I don't.
