I was sleeping then suddenly I felt like I was in my dining room. It felt so real. I was in my room firstly then went into the hallway into the dining room. I didn't have a out of body experience but I felt like I actually was in the house. The lights was on and I went upstairs and that was the time I woke up. I hope I didn't experience it tonight. It freaks me out. But it was good to experience and I wasn't scared when it happened to me.

Maybe you astrally projected while you were sleeping, but that would be an out of body experience.

Thank you for replying. It sounds freaky. I wasn't out of my body. I might have had a lucid dream.

Because you weren't unhappy and it wasn't a stressful experience, I would welcome this dream. It seems like a grounding force.

Why do you feel certain you weren't having an OBE? It sounds a lot like one. Are you certain because the idea of an OBE freaks you out?

I wasn't out of my body. I was still dreaming. OBE would be fascinating but at the same time freaky because I haven't experienced it before and I don't like the idea of being out of my body. I would be scared about whether I would come into my body again. How do you know it might be a OBE? If I was having one, I would have seen my body sleeping and my spirit above my body. But that didn't happen. It must have been a lucid dream. I know a bit about OBE's even watched videos about it. What was weird I could feel the floor. :S

I guess it doesn't really matter which it was, I was just curious why you were certain it wasn't one, but now I see what you mean.

Definitely it was your dream so your gut feeling is probably right. If you'd never had an OBE before though, you might not notice leaving your body.

The line between OBEs and lucid dreaming seems so vague, because presumably a person could have a dream about leaving his or her body, and if that dream was lucid, then what?

It's all very confusing but I think your experience is way cool. I'm sorry it freaked you out. Maybe it will get less scary if it happens more often.

This happens to me, lots. It could be false awakenings.. When you think your awake but your still fast asleep in bed. Quite often , I will be, say, in the kitchen getting a drink..then I will look at the clock and it will be whizzing around..or look out the window and it be raining stars..or try and turn the light on, and my finger goes through the wall!! Haha

The first few times it can be a bir scary. especially if you go back to your bed and look at yourself sleeping! BUT, its your dream, lucid/astral or whatever, its YOURS! Go outside, fly to the moon, go view places you have never been without ever leaving your bed! With a bit of practice, this can be a wonderful experience!

Happy dreaming

I have had many things happen around going to sleep or just waking up. A couple of them were scary like where you are awake, but your body cant move, and then you feel like bricks start falling on you. Ive also been able to either jump around in my dreams, or if Im just landing into my body? I always land back in.?
