I don't know if it means anything. But for some reason I barely remember my dreams. It's once in a blue moon that I remember anything after waking up. It's usually just dark. If you have any insight into this. I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I would consider that not remembering dreams to be the next best thing to having good dreams... the only other thing of course would be, having bad dreams. maybe your mind...your soul is at peace. ...tis' a good thing that! |

Welcome KingNobody17!
![]() I don't think it really means much to not remember them. It seems (in my experience anyway) to be mostly dependent on when in the dream cycle one wakes. If I wake while having the dream, I remember it. (But rarely as long as I'd think at the time unless it gets written down.) It can be good, bad, indifferent, or a total WTF parade of bizarreness. Which can be amusing. Again from personal experience, there have been spells where it seems I do not dream at all. Or dream a LOT. Or have dreams that are silly. Or ones that are terrifying. It does seem to run in spells though. Sometimes I've noted a correlation of one of these spells with a med. Sometimes there seems no accounting for it. Is not remembering dreaming something that is new for you? |

Remembering dreams can take desire and work. We dream multiple times a night, our daydreams are similar and how many of them to you "remember"?
My husband never use to remember his dreams but I was working with mine in therapy and as I told him mine and what I was learning from them, etc. he began to remember some of his. It's one unconscious at work doing something :-) and I enjoy looking at it as I do my other thoughts, feelings, and things going on in my life.

I don't remember my dreams, hardly ever, unless they are particularly brutal. I had night terror growing up, and I remembered all to much of it. Then it seemed sudden to me that I just didn't remember anymore, I think for me maybe it came as a coping mechinism.

I never remember mine. I wake up right in the middle of them then I can't remember what happened in the dream. Sorry I don't know why...
