This is bizarre to say the least, and when I get bizarre ones
it's a sign that there is something important I should know
or recognize. It was a bit hazy, but the crucial part is that
I am "wearing" the body of a bird on my chest. And bizarrely,
it is wrapped in a "bandage"which covers it's eyes and all the
way down it's body including wings to the tip of it's tail;and
the end of the"bandage"is just hanging loose. Hypothesize
guys!

I thought more of a staitjacket! The chest is where the heart is; you having difficulty in love, feeling smothered or anything? But, since you saw mummy, is there a "death of love" sort of thing going on or, with the "bandage" image, are you feeling emotionally hurt?

From your name, I gather that you identify with birds so it does not surprise me that it is a bird that your unconscious is using as a symbol. I've heard of wearing my heart on my sleeve but. . . a bird on my chest? I guess it is still worth more than two in the bush? LOL
