I had a dream last night..... but i was awake.

It started with two... i don't know.... connections/questions. that was a 'normal' brain process. then it got more and more, and i got more and more restless and extremely hyper. it lasted for about two hours, and my whole mind's eye was completely filled with those connection thingos. it was like a brown kaleidoscope.

I'm confused. It made perfect sense during the time, that my brain was getting more and more active.... it was kind of like i became manic.......

Any ideas?

So it's sort of like you were seeing your thoughts floating in the room around you? And then I guess you reacted to seeing your thoughts which spawned more thoughts and it basically generated a feedback loop.

It's like a weird kind of sleep paralysis. Interesting.

Have you tried meditating? Going into a full trance or self-induced hypnosis can often feel like that... Perhaps you were focusing really hard on a thought & it just spawned from there. You're most vulnerable to hypnosis when you are relaxed, but not yet tired.
