This isn't the first time I've had an apocalyptic themed dream, FYI.

Last night, I dreamed I knew the world was ending, and so did a close friend. In the dream, we were getting rid of all our worldly possessions because we wouldn't need them - but we didn't think or expect that we would die, either. The other odd thing was that not everyone knew the world was ending, only some people did, and those people (like me) were taking action to help themselves. The other weird thing was my friend and I were told to select an animal that we could keep when everything happened, and I chose a husky puppy, who was named "Layla." The parts of the dream with the puppy took place on the beach.

I specifically remember being really upset letting go of all my "stuff" to prepare for the end of the world, but I had to. In my waking life, I've been taking care to handle literal and figurative "baggage" in my way (such as getting rid of an old car, getting rid of clutter, doing things to make my life better). So I can see where some of the dream came from, but it was all very intense and dismal in the dream.

Me and my mom craved ice cream the same night this is weird because its my childhood treat and i havent craved nor wanted ice cream--period--for months, like i just dont know... and the fact my mom and i craved it at the SAME time... weird. O.o
