A few days ago I had a dream that I was levitating above a swamp of crocodiles that was in the front yard of a new home I had moved to. I was really confused because it was a beach front property and it was a salt water crocodile, but the property was inland. I keep having thoughts of me levitating over these crocodiles flashing into my mind ever since! lol
I think the crocodiles mean threat - and that I can rise above threat and I am safe. I think the inland sea represents emotions where they are not expected to be. That is how it feels to me anyway.

There's no point in trying to interpret it myself because...I can't
I can use google very well though
Unfortunately, the dream "experts" don't seem to agree on what crocodiles and alligators mean.
You are a very observant dreamer though...I wouldn't know a croc from an alligator much less fresh water vs salt water

You would if you lived in far north queensland in australia, george. Salties are the one that go out of their way to deathroll you and munch you. Freshies are a little less agro - they will usually only attack if feel threatened.

I think alligators are just over your part of the world and are much more docile than crocodiles.

I like the levitation part. It made me feel like I wasn't taking on issues that weren't mine - nice feeling.

Hope you are going well George xx

What a cool dream! I love the empowering ones like that...they're very rare for me. I do have dreams where I can levitate down stairs: like, I just decide to not land when I step down, and then I can float all the way down in one, long, floaty step. It feels so real, I'm bummed when I wake up and I can't actually do it
My 2 cents:
Perhaps, since they were the aggressive Salties, they may represent aggressive/violent people or forces that you subconsciously know you can "rise above" and live your life without them dragging you down, and around...as it were

I think both interpretations are spot on, and I am also impressed that you are so familiar with crocs and such. Dreams are so interesting!

Cool dream! I think your interpretation is spot on. I have one thought to add. That the new house is a new phase in your life, or a new you, or something like that. And that even though there are threats in this new place you're at--or going to--you are above them and you feel safe. It sounds like a very positive dream!

Yes, Bunny, I do feel very much there are challenges ahead that I will be able to transcend, as dangerous as they may be. I have to move house in real life and while there is some anxiety and overwhelm related to that, I am trying to focus on trying to find a place that suits my needs even more than my current one does. I will take time to grieve this house that has been a beautiful, enjoyable, comfortable home for me and my boy - and I will move forward with life with courage and confidence

I can have some wierd dreams, but I don't think that is one of them. Is it possible you saw something on the news about crocs in a river? Maybe had it on your mind when you went to sleep?

Doesn't everyone levitate over crocs? lol

Very empowering, I would think.

Love the pic Pam thanks

Last night in my dream, the jet that I was on landed near my dad lived. I yelled at him I couldn't get off I had to stay on the plane until I got to the airport 1/2hour away. Because I had stuck my head out of the window (yeah right all jets have openable windows lol) they interrogated me for terrorism. I was distraught and told them I had seen my father and was merely talking to him through the window. My mechanic was also looking for a new place to relocate his workshop.

If your croc dream were my dream Living Well, I'd have a slightly different take; I believe everything in a dream is part of us; that water represents the unconscious so I'd take the dream to mean I was afraid of my unconscious, of getting in the water. I had a poisonous snakes in my bed clothes dream a couple nights ago that turned out similarly for me (afraid of the power of my creativity http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._n_892254.html ).

Have you ever read, Women Who Run With the Wolves? http://www.amazon.com/Women-Who-Run-.../dp/0345377443 Your dream kind of reminded me of that book.

I had a professor who said that the absolute correct answer to a dream was the dreamer when he/she had an "aha" or "eureka" insight. They could get ideas from others as to what the dream might mean but only the dreamer themselves would "know" the right answer because the dreams are a message to you from your own subconscious, and your "aha" will let you know when you hear the right meaning.
