Rising water/oceans levels along the coast...verrry surreal

tornados...multiple on the horizon-coming my way...good adreneline dream

impression that nuclear war is imminent...deserted town and I am alone waiting and looking for people. it's eerie and always very overcast and still.

looking up into sky seeing strange spaceships zooming over or just hanging motionless up there somehow. Everyone is alarmed and worried but me. i think it's fantastic. This one has been with me since childhood...still the same design spacecraft too. Stuff generated by my young mind back then that looks very simplified by todays images of what alien spacecraft might look like. This one is a favorite...exhilarating but really calm and gives me a good feeling of contentment in my dream.

I don't try to decipher my dreams...I just like the ride I get during them. Don't dream much anymore. My sleep patterns don't get me into that sleep stage often. Dang it.
Thanks for this!

Interesting dreams all but I really like the one with the spacecraft. Maybe in the dream you think they've come to take you home? That reminds me...

Heh maybe. I was pretty young when these started. Of course I grew up during the 60s too, when space and every cultural offshoot from that was bombarding the populace. I was born just at the end of the golden era of sci-fi writing as well the 50s. My babysitters comic books were a big influence maybe. Lots of science fiction and flying saucer stuff. Not sure why it was all of interest and didn't really understand much [3/4/5 yrs old???] but I was fascinated. It initially stems from those comic books I'd bet...the concepts of aliens and mysteries from the skies. I'd never really thought of why I had these particular dreams. It being the space race era didn't hurt either. It's likely as simple as that. Perhaps my childs eye wonderment and ignorance was so profound that it really touched my imagination??? I dunno. Nice dreams tho. Hows it going?

Very cool that you have recurring dreams that make you feel good. Beats recurring nightmares! I also grew up during the 60's - nice to meet you. I'm in therapy right now and my therapist is amazing at interpreting dreams. It's really fascinating how they reflect what I'm working on in therapy. The unconscious is an amazing thing! I've no idea what your dreams mean, but the emotion is an important part. And contentment ... well, you can't beat that. Enjoy them!
