I had a very weird dream the other week and I can't stop thinking about it. I don't remember the whole dream, but the part I do remember is very vivid. I remember the feelings in it though, the beginning I was very angry, then it became peaceful, then I was scared and this is the part I remember.
I was standing in front of this person, I couldn't tell who they were, but they were talking to me about all the good things they've done in their life to make up for some of the bad. Then they look down at their hands, like remembering all they've done, and then they looked at me and said "Lucifer was always here." It was very strange, I remember only the person's eyes, not their face or anything, and they looked like mine. I can't stop thinking about it and it's got me very shaken up for some reason. I remember waking up and feeling really heavy and a little scared. I'm not completely sure what to make of it

From what I've read, dreams of Lucifer are a negative representation of yourself and your fears. So it sort of explains why you were looking into your own eyes. It's also natural to see you very shaken up over it if these dreams do in fact represent your fears. How are you feeling today?

I've been a little stressed out and worried all day, I had this dream again last night. I guess I'm just sort of scared about the future and if I'll be able to make it on my own, or that I'll just be alone and not able to make it..

The scene suggests a situation in which you could see yourself being very up-front – very honest – in relation to an idea you have (standing in front of this person) but you may need to confront this idea. While you may not identify with the idea (couldn’t tell who they were), in your mind there may be something to be said for it. In this scene the idea in question can be the idea of doing good things to make up for the bad that has been done.

The hands refer to one’s acts and deeds; to the things we do. “Lucifer/the devil was always here” would obviously imply that behind the bad deeds we find the influence of the devil. Note that in relation to the hands there is an expression: “the devil makes use of idle hands” implying that when our hands and deeds are not put to doing useful work, bad deeds may be expected to occur.

The aspect of yourself which represents this idea of doing good to compensate for the bad deeds appears to reflect your own beliefs or sense of Self. (their eyes looked like mine) This seems to lead to the questions (1) is this how you live – doing bad things then trying to make up for them? And (2) do you believe you can do many bad things as long you make up for them later? The problem with this can be that if Lucifer is with you when bad deeds are done, you could assume that God is with you when good deeds are done to compensate – but this merely leads to a balance or state of equilibrium. On Judgment Day, will the good outweigh the bad then??? Perhaps waking up a little scared might reflect a good or godly emotion in such a case. [Note the “3” main emotions felt in the whole dream – anger, peaceful, scared.]
Thanks for this!

I understand your feeling of anxiety. I had visions of Lucifer before but in a different setting and situation.
