Hi, i have a recurrent dream. I made it 3-4 times.

I'm walking with this big black dog, that in the dream is mine - i know this because i have, in the dream, a strong friendship with him. We come to a public bathroom, and enter. Then i take a bath in the sink - O_o - and when i finished i discover that the dog eated my shoes, but I'm not angry with him. Then some guys enter in the bathroom and scare me, but the dog chases them away.

What coult this dream mean?
Also, sorry for the bad english, but it isn't my native language.

Jung says that every character in our dreams is us, including animals. That the dog is yours only emphasizes this. That it is black could mean many different things. What emotion do you associate to the color black? What kind of dog was it to you (was it a guard dog, a companion animal/guide dog? Was it menacing? Was it friendly?) Understanding how the animal functioned and what it stirred emotionally in you can show you what part of yourself it happens to relate to. Animals are also an expression of the opposite gender within you, so if you are male, it is an expression of your female side and vise versa. Bathrooms are seen as a private area, and cleansing yourself in it may relate to getting something off your mind in the safety of the sanctuary.

The dog (your anima self as I explained before), eats your shoes. This is probably a dual message directing you to both be more grounded as you make your way through life (hence the having to go barefoot), and the expression of your anima self preventing you from using your normal means of functioning in the world (as in how you cope with stress, how you communicate, etc). This is shown through the fact that your shoes (the means of walking in your dreams) are being directly removed by the anima character.

The other characters that come in and are ran off by your dog are probably a personification of the fears you have regarding what you were getting off your chest. Be empowered here, as your anima self is the part of you that will keep you protected from the outcomes that you otherwise fear. Some might also say to ask what it is you feel you need off of your chest, but I would make the stance that your subconscious mind has already taken the liberty to address this issue in the dream, and now you simply need to turn your awareness toward the guardian/primitive/other-gender part of yourself, and accept its power as your own.
