Okay, this is getting ridiculous, I haven't slept since Tuesday morning and I'm starting to have auditory hallucinations, and I'm losing track of what I am doing. My Doctor put me on Olanzapine last Friday as I was delusional and scared to go out because of these, now I am scared to leave my house because I feel like I am going to fall over due to lack of sleep. I have no idea what to do as like I said, I am scared to leave my house as I feel like I'm going to fall over and I am so exhausted but just CANNOT sleep.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I see you're in England so it's really late for you. Do you have any sleep aids at all? I have to use Restoril when I'm going through a bad spell.

have someone escort you to the store, ,or have them go for you. Pick up some melatonin and benadryl. Take a dose of both (You might try 6 mg of melatonin, and a regular dose of benadryl). The melatonin will force your body to get back to sleep mode, and the benadryl, while making you drowsier, will also enhance the melatonin's effects.

Thank you for your responses, I finally went to sleep around 4am by forcing myself then woke up at 2pm. It seems that I sleep every other day with these meds, I see my doctor tomorrow so I will mention this to him as it can't carry on like this, I have my studies to get on with and need all the sleep that I can get.

Glad you finally got to sleep!

You definitely need to have something on hand so you don't have to go through that again especially if your new meds are going to be causing problems like that.

Thanks for this!
