I have some recurring dreams I'd like to share.
The first is that I'm going into a forest that is notorious for being creepy. It's always night inside the forest and there's a scary atmosphere. I end up usually finding a dead body and then I'm trying to find out who killed the person while being in the forest. I only solved it once. The second is that I'm trying to sleep in an attic, but it's haunted and scary things happen like I'm reading a book and it will snap shut, or I hear whispers from the left of the room. There's a little TV in the right side of the room and it would come on randomly. I think it's just a nightmare. Ghosts are my biggest fear. I also have dreams sometimes where I'm screaming at people to stop touching me and to get away from me, or that I've gone insane and I just sit there until I sort of start hallucinating while in the dream and I go off into this fantasy land. |

I have had similar dreams to the last one you were describing.
Your brain takes real life fears and memories, etc, and while in the subconcious state, twists em around in amazing ways. That is my very unscientific way to describe it haha lol. I think that is what is going on...

1st Dream
You're trying to navigate your way through something, but there is an uncertainty there that keeps you from being able to tell where you're going. In the end, you find the dead body - a lost part of your own personality. (( What did the dead body look like? )) Every character both living and dead, human or non-human are you when in a dream. This is just a lost part of your personality that you have changed from. The thing is, you want to know when/how/why that change took place (the whodunit theme in the dream). When you did solve the problem, hat was the answer? I'm sure there is something about you there as well. 2nd Dream What are attics in your opinion? What are they for? Also, do you read often, irl? Houses/buildings/rooms-within are often representations of the body and/or it's corresponding parts. Often the attic is symbolic of the mind, in the perspective of it being where the memories (read as "antiques and heirlooms") are held. Reading is often an expression of seeking knowledge. And electronic type media (computers/tv/radia are usually messages that you are trying to receive (not literally...more like there's some understanding you're getting at and it's right at your grasp). This sequence is the same message in three parts. It has to do with your past...or your memories. Probably both. There's some deeper understanding you're trying to figure out. You look for it (as in reading the book), and you start to get the message but something is keeping you from it. I see that you're getting parts, because the TV is flickering, so some of it must be coming through and in some ways the whispering is the same image, except it's like you know something is being said but you're struggling to make out the words. 3rd Dream This is the subconscious trying to fulfill a want that your waking self can't accomplish. You're trying to shut out the rest of the world, and you're lashing out. So you wall yourself up in your mind and go into this fantasy land. These are things you can't do in the waking world while still functioning in it properly.

Wow thank you so much, this is very insightful. I will have to think about this. I do read often in real life.
