I had a dream about me and my sister in our room and there was this big white spider on a string of web going down from my ceiling so i made a hanging trap for it so i can trap it and let it free outside, but then i forgot to open the trap and the spider was already next to it so i grabbed the trap carefully but it fell and the spider flew somewhere in the room. I was not at all scared of the spider until i lost it somewhere in the room. What does this dream mean? or what does it mean to dream of a white spider?

White = wisdom. The spider is out and about. No control over it, it is on the lose! Will it bite you?

There is no universal meaning of dream symbols. Try to think of what spiders mean to you, what your memories of them are and what your associations are. That'll show you what your dream might mean (if it has a meaning at all).

Dream symbols can be related. Or minds assoiates spiders, and colors, and other elements to how we feel at the time. Example: White can mean snow or winter and cold. Scientists and doctors wear white lab coats...see what I mean?

Dream symbolism can be a tad tricky. The theme I picked up about your dream is the following: The attempt to keep something contained/ controlled that pose a threat. However, it ends up running/hiding and now out of your control. Is there an aspect of your life you're attempting to control and it isn't working out as you had planned. It is now out of your control.
Your dream also indicate that you're a thinker, planner. You're a solution based thinker, not a reactor. Your reaction wasn't impulsive. You wasn't trying to smash it or hit it with something. You took great thought to figure out a way to safely contain the spider. The white spider may be a symbol of the rarity of what you're trying to control/ deal with in your conscious life.

Hope this helps some. Sweet dreams
Belle
Thanks for this!

Hi,
Rather than "mean" anything, dreams are dreamt to make you do certain things during sleep. Some dreams are dreamt to entertain you and divert you from some problems, others are dreamt to move you from a bad sleeping position.
This dream was dreamt because you were sleeping on your back and needed to turn over.

Dreams always have some kind of meaning. It is how our minds process the days activitys and how we feel about our selfs.
