The Camera Man (Nightmare)

So for the past few weeks I've been dealing with this nightmare. Every time i have it i go from the start to just a bit farther then where I left off. I am in a dark woods, there is some kind of abandoned industrial area and then I start to see it. It is a tall man roughly 6 feet tall. he wears a blue suit (about this color ) with a black bow tie, and his head is that of a mannequins head only there's a a large old timey camera lens jutting out of the middle of the face, with black glass and bronze metal, and a crank coming out of the left side of his head. I run off of instinct, i cannot control my dream it is the same every time, I am not fast enough and he rips off my left arm, I run again wanting to live even if it meant the loss of that arm. I make my way to an old elevator that still works, I close the gate and hit the button to go up and it begins to rise, but the cameraman is there, his hands grab the elevator before its able to fully leave the first floor and he drags it down, that lens now giving off a red flickering light, he rips my right leg from my body and then the left. That is as far as I've gotten so far, every time he claims another limb and i wake up the limbs he takes are asleep. I don't know what it means or how to stop the dreams

A good script to a sifi horror movie. Better than what I seen on TV. You lost the ability to stirke back at him. The Anger from your past abuse may be fadeing away and may be leaving you. The crank may mean that he, the Cameraman gets all "Cranked Up" over things in life. The red lens may indicate that he precived things through anger.

The right side of the brian is the Creative side, thus the Left arm goes first. Don't let the Camera Mans anger rob you of your creativity. The Camera man may indicate your angery side you had around your abuse. You are in the process of escaping that in your self. He seems a bit hard headed.

Get more into your softer feelings. Get in touch with your more sensitive side and feelings. Express your self through art or music. Then you may find yourself flying above the Camera man rather than using that old elevator that you used in the past to escape from abuse.

The movie thing is probably because i primarily watch horror movies, books, games, ect. I attempted to draw the camera man but only succeeded in getting his face and shoulders, I semi-wonder if the camera man is a reflection of myself or some form of myself. My left hand was stomped on by my obese father when i was ten. Both of my knees had their muscles torn from over use during a growth spurt when i was thirteen, they're difficult to walk on for any long duration. He's going systematically through the body parts that have been damaged fairly badly

You done a good interpertation. The camera man is probably an aspect or yourself, also he can represent your father. Don't be to hard on yourself.

So far the dreams have stopped and I only see the Camera Man in day dreams, and i may have more on what he represents. I always told myself to never forget what happened to let it drive me and make it something to fuel myself. A dream for me has always been a like a movie playing in my mind some of them memories.Perhaps Camera Man is my memories eating away at me.

Momories and Feelings. He is you eating away on yourself. Try not to numb your feelings, experience them and work through them to find your true self.
