It is unusual for me to have multiple dreams of the same person in a short period of time, but I had several dreams of William Shatner (yeah I know, it's bizarre) over the span of a week or so. Now I should preface this by acknowledging that I'm a huge Star Trek and Captain Kirk fan and I have been watching it a lot recently. That said I've been told and read multiple times that if a certain thing pops up an unusual amount of times in a short period of time there is something there that one should pay attention to.

The first dream was really strange. I was laying on top of him while he was floating on his back in a swimming pool. I remember being confused that he was able to maintain floating like that. It felt like it was nearing nighttime or was nighttime. It did feel dark, but we were outside somewhere that didn't seem familiar to me. We were chatting about something, but I don't remember what about and occasionally we made out.

The second dream involved my sister and I meeting Shatner at one of his ranches. My sister loves horses and has three and he was going to let her see his ranch. Then the dream shifted to me driving through a pretty neighborhood, but it felt like I was headed somewhere that I'd never been before. I pulled up to a yellow house with white accents and lots of trees around it. It wasn't my house though. The dream ended there.

I don't remember much about the third Shatner dream other than he was there. It seemed like he was involved in the same conversation that I was having with a few other people, but I don't remember what the conversation was about. It was one of those odd dreams where I can vaguely remember what was going on, but not any other details like who, how many, where, etc. I do dream in color though and it seemed like the room might have had a red color about it, but whether it was tablecloths or the walls or whatever I don't remember. Atmosphere didn't feel very charged though. Seemed calm. Might have had that smokey bar feel to it though.

Fourth dream I remember more about. My work friends and I went to the Vegas Star Trek convention again. Didn't feel like it was in the same location though and things seemed a little out of place. Usually events and the dealer's room are compartmentalized in separate ballrooms to keep organization of the convention and whatnot. It seemed like everything was more open. Instead of ballrooms and hallways, it felt like dealer's tables were everywhere and things were happening more where you could see everything at the same time. The rooms all sort of had autumn colors really. So we're wandering around and they decide to look at some of the dealer's tables. I look over to my right and Shatner is sitting on a table just kind of watching us. He looks amused in a pleasant way. Behind him a ways is an open door; probably one of those emergency exit type doors propped open and the sunshine is coming in. Then he gets up and comes over to chat with us but I can't remember what we talked about. I tend to remember actions better than words in dreams it seems.

My friends stay for a bit and then decide to head off on their own. The dream shifts and the next parts are very strange and feel connected to the Shatner dream in the sense of timeline; like the events happened shortly afterwards, but Shatner is not in these parts and doesn't reappear. The next part is very difficult to describe, but it felt cartoony in a way; very vivid colors of all sorts, but it felt like winter in some parts and as I walked along, it turned to spring in other areas. It felt like I was on some winding path almost like a board game or the yellow brick road. There were lots and lots of people doing all kinds of things and everyone seemed happy. None were from my real life, but I told a few of them I was pregnant and I was very excited about it.

The dream shifts again and this time I'm in a house I don't recognize, but I recognize the people in it; my best friend from high school, Beth's parents were the homeowners and for some reason I was with them. I haven't seen them in several years and wasn't sure why or how I'd gotten there. I'd woken up in the morning and realized where I was at. I hear a baby's cry and I look over and I see my four month old daughter fussing. I pick her up and start talking to her like mothers baby talk at their babies. And I change her and dress her into an outfit that was mint green in color. She calmed right down after that. Her big brown eyes were the most memorable feature. I don't remember what her name was. I got the feeling her father wasn't in the picture, but that was because I never said anything. I never ever wondered why he wasn't there. I do remember thinking that I was afraid he'd be disappointed that she was a girl as his other kids had all been girls. Last part of the dream I remember was my friends, Katie and Brooke picking me and me loading the baby into the car. I guess I was just visiting in New Mexico.

These dreams are getting weird as all get out. I feel like a weirdo, but these dreams of the same person make me want to get to the bottom of it.

Shatner seems to have become a dream symbol for you. He probably is a hero figure, but you'll have to work that out, what he means to you. The fact you were making out with him means to me that you want some of that hero power to solve problems for yourself, and I say that because I've had similar dreams about David Tennant as Doctor Who. He is my dream hero. The open door with sunshine coming in also sounds like a metaphorical way out to a brighter place, and Shatner is the key.
Pregnancy dreams mean that you have a new project going you're excited about, that something new and good is about to happen, a change in your life. You get to see and care for the baby in the dream too, which is good. Sounds like you may be concerned that someone isn't sure about this new change.
Hope that helps. I recommend Jungian dream analysis, if you can get a library book.

In Jungian dream work, every character in a dream represents some aspect of the dreamer. Even though you're a fan of Shatner-the-star, do you know anything about him as a person that you identify with?
I wouldn't worry too much about the bizarre aspect of dreams. That's offen the result of meds, even vitamins or other supplements--even food.
Buildings are also the dreamer, specifically the body. Top floor the brain, etc. if house is falling down, that's not good.
Essentially, everything in dreams IS the dreamer, represented in various ways.

The secret to understanding our dreams (according to Jung) is learning our individual dream vocabulary. Keys, a purse, shoes--these don't mean the same thing to everyone, so forget those dream dictionaries. Write down your dreams (the post is great) and study it. Compare, review weekly. You'll learn over time.
Thanks for this!
