Seriously, I never thought of coming to Psych Central to be part of something like this; Wow..... How things work!
ANYWAY.....I'm here and I've posted an introduction and submitted a few brief words in my profile so I hope you will say hi; I'm a virgin when it comes to joining groups.....

So. The way I found myself here....is Google. I was searching for an answer to a dream question; maybe somebody here can relate to this question?

Normally, dreams are dreams and my reactions are my reactions; however, lately, I have been having dreams that elicit feelings/emotions I have never felt before; feelings completely outside my awake life.

I guess my question is this: How can I have emotions that don't come from my physical senses, from what my brain knows how to react to???

Does that make sense?

Hi and welcome! I've had very emotional dreams that throw me off for days, but I don't have an answer sorry. Hopefully someone else here might have better insight. Anyway, welcome and take care.

Dreams reviel feelings just below conceniousness. The feelings are there, your just not fully aware of them. As you accept feelings, they may 1st appear in a dream, before you become fully aware of them.
