Ok so for quite a few years at least once a month I dream of drowning it starts off me sitting on a beach and suddenly the tide goes out and im aware that a tsunami is going to come so I try to get everyone off the beach but no one listens, its a location iv never been to before however I was flicking through a travel guide and found the beach I was dreaming off even tho id never seen a picture of it even the landscape behind it was the same, any way im suddenly running through a village trying to get to higher grown sometimes im alone sometimes im with my family but I always end up losing them if im with my family, Im then knocked off my feet and suddenly in dirty water (occasionally its clear) and then im struggling the breathe and wake up I usually wake up choking and now dont like going to the beach because of this dream does anyone know what dreaming of drowning means??

Also this has only started happening in the last few months but I dream that im laying in bed it feels like im awake and I go to get up but I cant move my body is paralysed and I feel like something is holding down at my wrist's and feet, also im standing in the corner watching this happen sometimes I see it from the point of view in my body other times im watching it happen, as I said it feels like im awake so I never actually remember waking up just the feeling of being held down slowly going away.
when its over I often feel like the me that was standing there is still watching me which is odd had anyone ever had a dream like this before? makes me feel like im going crazy!
