I'm curious. I've lost 3 or so pets in my lifetime, and after every death I have had terrible nightmares of them as ghosts or of them coming back from the dead. It's very creepy. The nightmares usually go away within 6 months to a year after the pet has died. I'm very curious if anyone else copes with a pet's death this way.

I haven't personally had this experience. Do you watch a lot of television or see movies or read books with a theme such as this one?

No, I've avoided scary movies, TV shows, and books ever since I was about 10-12 years old (before any of my pets died).
