Would darkness and feelings of loneliness in a dream represent actual lonely feelings in real life?

Aoo' (yes) they can. If you are feeling isolated from your family or work situation you can feel lonely in a dream. Dreams are all about feelings! Also ask: How are you feeling inside yourself?

The lonely feelings felt in a dream can represent such feelings in real life. A feeling of loneliness in a dream can also help one to associate the dream to a particular situation in real life where such a feeling has been especially noted to occur.

Darkness in a dream scene indicates being in a situation in which one is “in the dark”, i.e. lacking in knowledge and information. As darkness is simply an absence of light, the dark scene more importantly indicates that one is not using intelligence in a situation, and especially not using the knowledge and in intelligence provided by God. (no sunlight)

If you are having a dream in which there is darkness and also a feeling of loneliness, it would imply that such a feeling is arising in a situation in which intelligence is not being used. [Dreams do not just give you facts but also solutions and explanations.]

Overall darkness in a scene can also be indicating a state of mind which reflects much gloom and doom. There is a lack of optimism and joy.
