I once had a dream a nuclear bomb went off behind my house, killing almost everyone instantly. An air raid siren sounded right before the blast, I ran into the house and went into the basement but then saw that the bomb had caused volcanic lava to burst out of the ground and pour into the basement, prompting me to run back upstairs. When I got to the top, I tripped and fell and didn't have time to get back up since the floor was starting to collapse. So I did a sprint crawl for the front door, and ran outside. The sky had turned into a yellow red and although some houses were still standing, there seemed to be no other survivors. How would this be interpreted?

Generally, apocalyptic dreams such as this (especially those of a violent nature) suggest feelings of helplessness and loss of control. You may be experiencing destructive feelings of hostility and rage.
Alternatively, your subconcious could be expressing a desire to wipe out some part of yourself. On another level of interpretation, it may be suggesting that a big change is headed your way. Lava is suggestive of rage that you have kept pent up inside of you. Sirens are representative of a stressful situation in your waking life that needs your attention. To see red sky in your dream suggests that something is coming to an end. Remember, when it comes to dream interpretation, the smallest symbols can make a huge difference! I hope that my interpretation helps you to come to a conclusion on your dream. On another note, I am no stranger to apocalyptic dreams such as this. They are terrifying and can definitely cause you to feel anxious and afraid for days after the dream actually occurred. Sometimes, it's very difficult to remember that it was indeed just a dream because it feels like so much more. |

Yeah exactly, yeah I don't really have much pent up rage, unless the bitterness towards my old elementary/middle school counts since I got in trouble for a lot of things I never did and blamed for a lot of things. It's not like I hate it, I just simply would not care to go back and visit those people again nor would I want to work there. I also blame myself for not putting my foot down and telling them how it really was. Same towards my family, although I'm getting better at it with my family though. But it makes sense, I had this dream back when I was in middle school and couldn't wait to get out of there. Thank you, it really did help!

I'm so glad I could help! Dreams often hold the key to problems you're having in life. It's really incredible what your subconcious can tell you!

Your life in a process of transformation. Old past structures collapse. Red is the color of fire and transformation. You will feel lonely for awhile. But a new world does await you!
