Lately I have been so tired and have not had to much energy to do anything. Most of the day i sleep. I can't seem to sleep at night even when I am tired. I get so exhausted sometimes that i cant even sit in a chair at time. I have to go lay down. I really hate this. Even when am able to sleep at night I can sleep during the day and still feel tired.

As you are sleeping for most of the day, the tiredness does not seem to come from physical exertion during the day. For many people, a feeling of depression can create a very strong sense of being very tired all the time. Many do in fact stay in bed for much of the day. You might need to deal with the issue that is depressing you. The only way would be to change your way of thinking about the situation causing the depressing feelings.

A feeling of being very tired can also come from a sense of boredom. There might simply be no enthusiasm for anything that you could think of doing. This case would be easily rectified.

It is also a good idea to try and be in bed at about the same time every day to establish a pattern of time to sleep and time to be awake. It is especially helpful to be in bed before midnight. By doing this you gain from symbolizing that you know how to call a day a day. Symbolism carries great power. Don’t knock it!

Another thing to look into is your food intake. Are you eating at regular times and eating well. Hopes this helps.
Thanks for this!

Eyes of Blue made really good suggestions. I am tired all the time too. And I KNOW its because of the boredom. Its because I am not doing anything else is why I am so tired. The only thing I do is take short naps, and change location of the house I am staying. Like instead of staying in my room all day, I go down in the basement and just change scenery.

Regular diet and getting to bed at the same time every day is very helpful too.
