Until this year, I never dreamed in color. If I did I don't remember. I loved the first dream that was in color. In the dream I was showing a friend pictures in a photo album when suddenly beautiful fresh-cut flowers fell out of the back of the album. I remember being startled in the dream, and then I looked at each every flower thinking I wanted to remember what the flowers looked like. I saw small yellow roses, two red roses, and some lavender flowers. In the second dream my sweetheart was standing on a primitive bridge in the forest and he was wearing a burgundy colored turtleneck with long sleeves. I had wondered from time to time if I'd had dreams that were in color. Now I know I've had at least two for sure. I hope there will be more.

Yes, I dream in color. I actually find that some medications affect my dreams, such as by making them more vivid. There have been times when I've had to think hard to remember whether something really happened or if I just dreamed it!

Yes I do dream in color, but then I can also lucid dream. (For finding out if you're dreaming or not, press your fist to the wall in your dream, if it goes through...you're dreaming.)

The most wild "color" dreams I had were while on lunesta--they don't advertise with the green fluorescent butterfly for nothing! ALL the elements within the dream were that way...alas it also caused night terrors so I quit taking it...

so now my dreams are regular color.

I don't dream in color. If something is of significance it is color and the rest is not. Like in the movie Rumble fish.

Wow, I thought everyone dreamed in color, like me. I wonder what in the world the difference between these colored and non-colored dreams could be?

I dream in color. I know some people dream in black/white so I'm grateful that I can see colors in my dreams

You are no longer preceveing things in just black and white. You are now experiencing the world in its fuller glory.

My dreams are "interesting" enough fortunately. I wish I didn't dream.

Yes, I dream in color--always have, even before I was on meds. Don't know why tho.

I notice some very significant coloured things in my dreams. I can't remember if everything else is in colour or not.

Not only do I dream in colour but all my senses are quite in tune. I can hear, feel, smell and even tast sometimes. My dreams are never short. 99% of the time my dreams are like a movie....beginning, middle and end. It is sometimes interesting but more often than not it's exhausting. My mind doesn't get to stop for long. I also fall into the dream state quickly. Within minutes. I know this because I've fallen asleep, started dreaming vividly and woken suddenly and looked at the clock to see only ten minutes or so has gone by. Weeeeiiiirrrrrrd

I dream in black and white or I'm blind when I remember dreams.

No. In fact, I do not seem to have any visuals. My dreams seems to be story lines only. Lately, I have been on an anti-anxiety med and my sleep has gotten deeper and my dreams more memorable and more intense. I wake up reeling from them. Sometimes they do seem to be speaking to me. Maybe they will help me figure out my behavior. My dreams seem to be saying that the problem is me and the effect that anxiety has on my behavior. I am scared all of the time and only seem to seek out safe things including doing the safest things on the job first before tackling the more difficult ones. I have a hard time dealing with what the dreams are telling me.

Same here but I also react to my dreams... like dropping into abyss - I usually wake up to this... I also talk and scream... so mine are also physical in a strange way....

As far as I can remember, I always dreamed in colour, just like in real life. I never understood how it could be otherwise.

I had one lucid dream in my life, during which I thought to check if I dream in colors, and I did see colorful flowers, so I think I do. Colors also factor into my dreams as symbols very often--for instance I'll dream a flame is blue, or a sign is red, and it seems very important in the dream what color it is, like the color is a symbol for something.

Yes, and aware of being aware of details also.
example: an ivory crocheted table cloth.

My dreams have always been in dull color. Almost black and white, but with a slight shade of color. Also my medication makes me have dreams always related to what's happening in my life and how things would be if I had made a different decision, etc.. very vivid too.
