I have recently moved over to concerta but my doctor recommended that around late afternoon I should take a rittlin as a booster. Problem is when its time for me to sleep, I cant. I just dont feel tired (eventhough the next day it hits me hard) Any advice? I dont want to cut the rittilin out altogether because I study at night...

It is the meds. doing it. Rittlin is based on a stimulus. It will keep you "wired" through out the night.

Check with your Doc. Tell him what your experiencing, then he can adjust the dose.

Kind of odd. I take Ritalin 2x a day (no I don't but I'm prescribed it like this) and I'm told if I haven't gotten around to taking the second dosage at 3 PM I should not take it because of the sleep thing. I assume my doc thinks I go to bed around 11 and if so, he thinks 8 hours should pass between a dosage and sleep.

You are tracking this right. Keep in touch with your doc. Let him know what is happening.
