Ok, I am having a bit of a self sabotaging time. I am exhausted but reluctant to let myself sleep. Unfortunately I have a medical condition which means if I don't sleep I fail to function properly ( don't want to detail in case it identifies me). I think it could stem from the weekend when I had a nightmare. I managed to wake myself up saying to myself you don't have to do this! I'm not sure if that is the only reason. Have contacted t to say we need to work on this tomorrow in case I forget. Memory goes when I get tired.
Does anyone else do things like this. I have a long commute to work so this is a bit like playing Russian Roulette. Normally I understand my behaviours better but this one just seems completely self sabotaging. Anyone else understand doing this? |

I don't think I've experienced what you describe, but I have been having my fair share of sleep problems lately. It's usually anxiety and a racing mind that prevent me from falling off to sleep.
Sounds like maybe there was something more to the nightmare? Finding the root of the anxiety with T will probably help. Good luck. |
