Waking up in the middle of a dream=symbolic?

I've posted over at the sexual issues forum about my lack of sex (as in none) at my age of 31. Well, I've had something weird happen to me several times. I've had more than one dream where I'm about to get into a sexual encounter. Usually the woman is someone random, not anyone that I've been dating or know from my past. Right as we are about to get into the hot & heavy part, something always wakes me up. The last time I had a dream of this nature, I was woken up by a thunderstorm where rain came into my apartment (I had my windows open). Is this just an eerie coincidence or is this some weird symbolic thing happening to me to represent a lack of sex or the fact I may never have any?

I had that same situation and came to the conclusion that it was because I had not experienced actual sex yet; you can't dream about what you don't know! Think about it. It's coming from you, you only have your own experiences to go on. Orgasm/wet dream one has had experience of but not the actual sexual act with another person.

I think this can be a pattern. It sounds like it from your description. If you fear the sexual part, you may wake up.

Well last night I had a similar dream but I slept through it. Unfortunately in the dream right as I was about to get down to business some random person walks in on us and starts lecturing about thinking of the children This is most certainly a bizarre twist on this dream pattern.
