Half of it splattered onto the wall or floor, and the other 8 cartons were unscathed. (None of it hit her.) Thought that would add some levity.

I've never been so confused with a dream. Virtual beer, wine or other beverage for anyone who can help interpret that...

Reminds me of a dream I had several years ago (I was about 13). I was in my room but in my dream, the house wasn't finished being built yet, but my mom wanted me in the room anyway, and it was at night. By the light of the moon, I saw what looked like some type of cream of chicken soup-minus the can-stuck to my wall. I went to "investigate," and I slipped and ended smearing the gunk all over my wall. My second oldest sister suddenly appeared, but she was a witch (wearing a T-shirt, mind you) and was screaming hysterically at me. In one part of the same dream, I saw my mom in a mail carrier's uniform, loading up mail in our unbuilt house.

I am not a professional dream interpreter, but I feel ...

The 8 that bit the dust represent the failed relationship.

The 8 that survived are letting you know that even though it's over, all is not lost.

Her not getting hit simply means her tab hasn't come due yet ...

You might not be there to see it when it happens, but, trust me, it will come due.

All our tabs come due somewhere down life's road.
