This dream has recurred thru my life. I am inside a huge complex like a big university . Have my bearings and know where my car is. I ask for directions and people are helpful but I wind up in another dead end. I see the way out, then lost again. upstairs downstairs panic sets in I wake up. any thoughts on this?

It sounds like you feel trapped in a situation, and people you meet are well-intentioned, but don't have the answer you're looking for? After all, you already know where your car is. You sound unsure whether you can walk yourself there?
