Okay in the past I've had dreams about either darkness. For example, the dream about darkness, I was waking on the track at the gym at my school, everything was perfectly fine, then the lights suddenly went out, plunging the gym into near total darkness, the only lighting came through the small windows and front entrance. Everyone bolted for the exits, those playing basketball down below dropped everything and ran, most didn't even get their belongings. Everyone on the upper level ran out the main entrance. In this kind of dream, it is basically considered dangerous to be in a building alone in the dark, so I ran out the front entrance as well. I was halfway up the hill outside when I realized I forgot my book bag. So I went back, by this time, only three people remained by the front entrance to the gym, and they were waiting for me to grab my belongings and then run back out with them. I usually experience intense fear, anxiety, and in some cases, loneliness if I fail to get out in time. Not sure what this could mean.

The theme of this dream is leaving things behind. You have let go of some things that were at one one time were important to you. You felt lonely, because at one time, those things were old friends. Often anxiety and fear will come to you well let go of things that were once important to you. The gym was the place that held those things. It is dark now.

Oh, makes sense. But I'm a bit confused, are you saying the gym represents a part of me or just a random place. Sorry, usually I'm pretty good with this stuff, but just seem a bit confused with this one. Everything else makes sense though.

The gym represent a Space you were once in. A space that once contained those things.
