I accidentally took an hour-long nap around dinner time because I tend to doze off when I'm listening to music in my bedroom (unless it's bedtime). I took a sleep aid at my regular bedtime, and then spent several hours in a not-quite-asleep state of limbo before getting up in the middle of the night. Why is it so easy for me to nap during the day but not at bedtime? I'll probably catch some zzz's around ninish this morning after the sun rises. I'm more comfortable dozing off in the morning sunlight than the dead of night for some reason.

Same here, i have several nights during the week where i can't sleep till about 3am usually because i take a nap earlier in the day because my meds make me soo tired in the daytime and i can't help but fall asleep on the couch in the afternoon. I probably should try to not take that nap, and coffee does help me stay awake in the daytime too. I also wake up really depressed every morning, until my meds kick in. Sometimes i feel so foggy in my thinking i can't cope with anything.
Thanks for this!

I can remember one night when I only slept about 90 minutes, the night after I ended up being so tired that I fell asleep at 8 PM, slept until 10 PM then stayed up for a little while and ended up falling back asleep around 11:30 PM or, after that I pretty much slept non-stop until about 10 AM, but I think that all of this was because I was completely exhausted and was trying to catch up on sleep.
