Strange week, I have severe insomnia (10 yrs)and I don't often dream. Im being treated for PTSD, ASD, MDD. They have been playing with meds for about a year now. I finally started to have a few dreams.most of the ones I do have are not good. This last week ive had two about coyotes, the second dream the pack actually attacked me one at a time after I tried to chase them away because I was afraid they were going to kill my cat. One actually chased me up on my deck and attacked me, I threw it off of the deck only to turn and another was waiting for me. Freaky....

That is freaky, Newfie girl! I sometimes have dreamed about wolves but have never dreamed about coyotes (when I was around 6 I dreamed I had wolves laying on top of the family car, a station wagon, oozing over the edges trying to get in the windows; very scary :-) I wonder what the difference is. Here's an interesting coyote "thing": Coyote Trickster Dreams and its wolf counterpart, very similar in many ways: Wolf Dreams

It could have been that they were outside & howling while you were sleeping. I know that sometimes when things are happening around me it actually goes into my dreams if I'm at that state in my sleep.

I had coyotes at the farm across the street which is actually several miles of acreage.....but I had my eskie dogs out on a long line while I was also working outside. Of course, Leo was barking at them.....inviting them to come......so I raced to get them into the house.

During the ice storm they were yelping on my own farm sounded like right outside of my bedroom window......I know if I did much dreaming that coyotes would definitely be something I would dream about because I'm so afraid of the damage they can do & the braveness they have of NOT being chased away.

Possible but I don't think they've been around lately. They are cocky and brazen. Lol
